Асиф обвинил Индию в нагнетании тревоги и попытках спровоцировать эскалацию напряженности в преддверии годовщины теракта в Пахалгаме, передает ТАСС.В своем заявлении в соцсети он подчеркнул: «Индия пытается спровоцировать эскалацию напряженности путем нагнетания тревоги и необоснованных обвинений в адрес Пакистана. Такие угрозы для нас не являются новыми». Он напомнил о военном конфликте между Индией и Пакистаном, который произошел в мае 2025 года, заявив, что Пакистан готов ответить на любое новое нападение «быстро, взвешенно и решительно». Министр добавил, что в следующий раз ответ будет еще более смелым. Ранее министр обороны Индии Раджнатх Сингх сообщил о готовности индийских вооруженных сил продолжить военные действия против террористической инфраструктуры в Пакистане при необходимости.
